As much as I tell people, that Round Diamonds are the MOST expensive Cut of Diamond there is…
Seeing is Believing!
So I went to the James Allen Website (Featuring some of the BEST DEALS on Diamonds anywhere), and I rounded up TWO Diamonds to Compare:
A One Carat Round Brilliant Cut Diamond, and a One Carat Cushion Cut Diamond.
See them both here:
Now, let’s get specific…
Diamond Clarity
The Clarity of BOTH of these stones is VS2. Which is extremely high Clarity on the Diamond Clarity Chart. VS2 means that there will be NO (ZERO) visible Flaws or Inclusions in the stone with the naked eye. Only upon Microscoping the stones, or using a 10x Jeweler’s Loupe
, will you be able to see a couple of identifying characteristics.
And that’s it!
Take a look at the Round Stone close up…
It’s beautiful for sure!
Now, let’s see the Cushion Cut close up…
AWESOME!
These are very clean Diamonds, truly impressive!
Diamond Color
The Color of these stones are BOTH I Color. Meaning, it’s in the middle of the Near Colorless Range (the most common Color Range on the market). I Color will still face up White, and shouldn’t exhibit any tones of Yellow or Brown in the stones. In other words, no one will know it’s I Color! :) (Especially with the Clarity and Cut being so good)
Diamond Cut
These are BOTH Great Cuts of Diamond with Excellent Polish and Symmetry. The Round Diamond is graded as “Excellent“, which is the BEST you can get. The Cushion Cut doesn’t have a Cut Grade listed because there are no exact Cut Grades for Fancy Cut Stones. Instead, it’s graded by overall measurements and finish, so it’s listed under the same category as the Round Cut is… Which is sorted by Ideal (or Excellent) on James Allen!
Diamonds that are Cut well like this, along with Excellent Polish and Symmetry will Sparkle and Dance in the Light, and they will certainly make her eyes dance as well. :)
Neither stone has any Fluorescence in them (none), which in my book is a good thing.
Both stones are Certified by GIA (the BEST in the business).
Carat Weight
BOTH stones are actually LARGER than a One Carat Diamond, they are actually 1.05 Carats.
Now, let’s get to the good part…
THE PRICE!
The Round Brilliant Cut Diamond sells for $6,140 (which is an Average Selling Price for a stone this Size and Quality).
The Cushion Cut sells for $3,250
I REPEAT, $3,250!!!
That’s about HALF the price of the Round Diamond.
Same Quality!
Same Size!
HALF THE PRICE!
Diamonds like this Cushion Cut will sell INSTANTLY (usually faster than I can even post about them).
They are here and gone IMMEDIATELY!
So if you want a Big Diamond, of High Quality, without the High Price…
Don’t you agree?
